My son wanted an electric bike as for his 13th birthday. This one came out to be perfect for him. It was easy to put together. Great value for money with enough speed and range. He is really enjoying the ride.

About me / my e-bike usage:
- Previous owner of a (cheap, ~$300) class 1 e-bike, and decided to upgrade
- Primary usage is an 8-mile (each way) city commute
- I tend to leave the bike in highest gear, don't like pedal assist, and just pedal and throttle (one, the other, or both together)
- Writing this review after ~110 miles on the bike

Pros:
- Easy to assemble (following online video; doesn't really come with instructions?)
- Comes with things all e-bikes should come with:
- bright (enough) headlight
- taillight (with turn signals)
- fenders
- rear rack
- Communication with company was great (there was a tear in my seat from transport and they sent a new one (although not an identical one); had to find out how to turn off pedal assist)
- The battery lasts my whole commute even when I throttle at top speed the whole way (at least for now; TBD if the cold of winter drains the batter faster, or how it degrades over time)
- 28mph is *fast* -- but the bike feels sturdy and I feel safe

So-sos / expected but sharing for full disclosure:
- The motor is definitely more powerful when the battery is fully charged; on my commute home it struggles to maintain a speed over ~22mph on throttle only (this was also true of my previous ebike, at a lower speed)
- To get up to 28mph it takes pedal power in addition to motor, but the motor can maintain that speed when fully charged
- You will definitely need to help the motor to go uphill if you want to go at speed. I like this as it ensures I am getting at least *some* exercise. And if you are okay going uphill at "only" 12-15mph I believe the motor could do that on its own.

Cons (all pretty minor, at least for me):
- There is no software setting to turn off pedal assist (PAS) -- but you can disconnect the appropriate wire from under where the battery goes easily enough to enable throttle-only mode. There is no way of toggling between PAS and throttle though -- throttle will only work if PAS mode is on. So if you want that feature, look elsewhere
- The shifter is out of alignment and I can only get to the 6th-fastest gear. Presumably I can fix this myself, but I haven't tried yet.
- The brakes are making some minor noise I didn't notice at the beginning...but quite minor (at least for now)
- The whine of the motor is more noticeable than my last ebike -- but still not particularly loud

Got it 5 days after ordering.
When I saw the color in person fell in love with it, took my time putting it together, easy straight forward process really. Everything provided that was necessary for use, grand!
Had to charge batt, since it wasn't a long charge, I didn't expect much, however, I must say, at 6' ft / 220lbs
I had to test minor limits, SO WORTH IT!!! EVERYTHING is about a 10 mile hike in either direction from me, this covered the distance of 10 miles in about 20-30 minutes, which took me closer to 3 hours before. I want another

I've been riding most my life, at my age of 42 this bike is exactly what I wanted. I used it in both peddal assist and normal without any help. I'll say this bike is all around amazing. Ive put over 100 miles on it already and have gone well over 40 miles round trips with pedal assist and it has to be most fun had riding in a while. I don't fret over large hills and my knees dont get destroyed like they'd be after a ride on my 21 speed Schwinn. The battery is awesome, lasts exactly as long as see. One thing I'll say is not to go below 20% power on battery regularly. Doing so will cause battery issues down the road. As for the bike itself it is a bit heavy and tall, I'm 6 1 and still need to swing my legs up and over. So if shorter id recommend the other version where lower to ground. Jasion service has been great and included a sweet bag for storage on my back rack. It is overall my best purchase I've made in awhile. If you're contemplating going with a Jasion ebike, don't hesitate. I can tell you now it is well worth the $700 price tag! Don't put money on your health and peace of mind.

My youngest son wanted a moped, however being 14 I was leery about purchasing one since I knew a drivers permit would be right around the corner and he wouldn’t use it long. After talking with him about purchasing something he could have to use long term he started looking into e-bikes. This way he could ride to school/work/or take longer bigger rides while camping and have it for years to come. He looked at many different e-bikes, but couldn’t find the “perfect “ one until he came across the Jensen. This bike had everything he wanted, turning signals, light, horn, 7 speeds, long battery life, rack on the back, speed and price. Many of the reviews said it was difficult to put together, but he had it together and out riding within 30 minutes of the bike being delivered. In fact he rode it 10 miles to work and home the same day. The seat is uncomfortable, but what bike seat isn’t! if you want a nice sturdy e-bike with all the extra bells and whistles, at an affordable cost this is definitely the way to go!!
